What is Cursor?

Cursor is a fork of VS Code rebuilt around AI.

Your extensions, keybindings and themes carry over, and on top you get Tab completions that predict multi-line edits, an inline edit command, and an Agent that can plan a change, modify several files, run terminal commands and fix its own errors.

The editor indexes your repository so chat answers reference the right files, and you can point it at documentation URLs or attach files with @ mentions. Background agents run tasks remotely and open pull requests, while the Bugbot add-on reviews PRs on GitHub.

You can choose among frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI, or bring your own API keys.
