What counts as an AI tool

A software product whose core feature runs on a machine-learning model: generating, editing, analyzing or automating something a person would otherwise do by hand. The product must be live, with a public website and a pricing page or a clear free offer.

We decline wrappers with no product of their own, tools that only add a chat button to an unrelated app, unreleased products, and anything without a working signup.

What a listing needs

Required: name, tagline (90 characters max), website, logo, at least one screenshot, one category, at least two use cases, a 150 to 300 word description written for this listing, at least four key features, pricing model, plans (or "contact sales"), platforms, languages and support channels.

Everything else is optional but counts toward the completeness score shown in the form: privacy policy details, compliance, integrations, API documentation, social links, FAQ. Complete listings rank above incomplete ones when scores are equal.

Writing rules

  • Describe what the product does and for whom, in plain language. No superlatives, no "revolutionary", no comparison claims you cannot support.
  • Do not paste your homepage. Descriptions copied from the vendor site are sent back.
  • Prices must match your pricing page on the day you submit; we check.
  • Scores, pros, cons and the verdict are written by the editor and cannot be submitted.

Review and publication

Submit the form, save the password you chose (we never send emails, so it is the only way back into your dashboard), and keep the status link. An editor reviews the listing, may request changes with a note, then publishes it. Approved listings appear in the directory, their category and their use-case hubs within minutes of approval.

Questions

Submission guidelines FAQ

How long does the review take?

Usually a few days. You get a status link when you submit; it shows pending, changes requested, approved or rejected, with the editor note when there is one.

Is listing free?

Yes, entirely. There is no paid tier, no featured placement for sale and no affiliate requirement.

Can I edit my listing after publication?

Yes, from the dashboard. Each edit creates a revision that an editor approves; the published version stays online meanwhile.

Why was my tool rejected?

Most rejections are for tools that are not AI products, sites with no working product, or listings copied from the vendor homepage. The editor note on your status page says which.
