Enterprise AI tools are the plans sold by quote rather than by card, and the price is rarely the reason companies end up there.
What sits behind the sales call is single sign-on, SCIM provisioning, admin controls, audit logs, a written commitment that your content stays out of model training, a data residency option and a support contract with a name attached to it.
Several vendors also add indemnification, which matters when generated content ships to a client. The practical work in choosing one is procurement rather than product comparison: getting the security review, the data processing agreement and the retention terms in writing before the pilot.
Each listing below states its compliance certifications, SSO support and privacy terms.
Microsoft 365 Copilot if your work already lives in Office, Claude or Gemini for a general assistant with training exclusion, and Adobe Firefly when generated images need IP indemnification.

Training exclusion, retention period and data residency decide whether the tool can be used at all. Get them in the contract rather than from a marketing page.
SOC 2 and ISO 27001 are table stakes. HIPAA, and residency inside a specific region, are not, and adding them later usually means a different plan.
Several enterprise AI products are add-ons to a licence you already pay for. The real figure is the base seat plus the add-on plus onboarding, not the number on the quote.
A named contact, a response time and an escalation path are worth more than a higher tier label. Ask for the SLA in writing.

The major vendors do exclude business and enterprise traffic, and say so in their terms. Consumer plans of the same products often do not, which is the main reason to move.
Most are quoted per seat after a call. Where a public figure exists it usually sits between $25 and $60 per user per month, and add-on products sit on top of an existing licence.
Adobe offers it on Firefly output from its own models for enterprise customers. Microsoft and Google offer comparable commitments on their business tiers. Terms differ, so read them per product.
Almost never for these products. What is offered instead is a regional data boundary and a contractual retention limit, which is a different guarantee from running it yourself.
