What is Suno?
Suno writes and performs a song from a sentence. Describe a genre, a mood and a subject and it returns a finished track with vocals, instrumentation and structure, usually in under a minute.
That completeness is what separates it from the earlier generation of music models, which produced loops and left the arranging to you. Beyond the prompt box there is a real production layer.
Personas keep a voice and style consistent across a set of tracks, stem separation splits a mix so you can drop the vocal or the drums into your own session, and you can upload up to thirty minutes of your own audio to extend or add vocals to.
Premier opens Suno Studio with MIDI, effects and automation, which turns it from a generator into a workstation. The licensing is the part to read first. Free gives 50 credits a day, roughly ten songs, and those songs are not cleared for commercial use.
