What is Runway?

Runway builds generative video models and the editing tools around them. Gen-4 produces short clips from a text prompt, a still image or a reference video, with consistent characters and environments across shots.

Act-Two transfers a performance from a webcam recording onto a generated character, and Aleph edits existing footage with instructions such as changing the weather or removing an object.

Around the models sits a browser editor with green screen, inpainting, frame interpolation, upscaling and lip sync, so you can generate, fix and assemble without leaving the app.
